DepGrade Privacy Notice

Who we are

DepGrade (depgrade.com) is operated by Fem Fire Fem AS (org. no. 922 273 944), a company registered in Norway, which is the data controller. Contact: privacy@depgrade.com.

What we collect and why

The free DepGrade tool works without any personal data. Repository URLs and package.json contents you submit are processed to generate your report and are not linked to you as a person. We use server-side counters for aggregate usage statistics and no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

The only personal data we collect is your email address, and only if you choose to join the DepGrade Watch waitlist. We use it for exactly one purpose: to contact you about the launch, pricing, and availability of DepGrade Watch, the paid continuous-monitoring tier.

Legal basis

Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You give it by submitting your email to the waitlist form; you can withdraw it at any time (see below), without affecting your use of the free tool.

What we don't do

We do not use your email for newsletters or any other purpose, sell or share it with third parties, or combine it with your tool usage.

Retention

We keep waitlist emails until DepGrade Watch launches and you've been notified, or for at most 12 months from signup, whichever comes first — then they are deleted. If you withdraw consent earlier, we delete your email promptly (within 30 days).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.no). Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link; you can also just write to privacy@depgrade.com.

Where the data lives

The waitlist is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (our hosting provider) under their standard data processing terms.
